Combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker.
Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese to the mixture. Stir again until just combined.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 1.5 to 3 hours, or on high for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until the dip is hot, bubbly, and all the cheese is melted and smooth.
Once heated through, stir one last time.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
